JAMMU: The government on Wednesday transferred 18 members of J&K Prosecution Service.

According to the order issued by Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary , Home Department, Laeeq Ahmad Dar, Deputy Director Prosecution Crime Headquarters has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Prosecution, Crime Hqrs, J&K; Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, Deputy Director Prosecution, in the office of Director General of Prosecution as Joint Director Prosecution Hqrs, J&K; Sunita Kargotra, Deputy Director Prosecution in the office of Director Prosecution, Jammu holding additional charge of Deputy Director Prosecution, Samba-Kathua has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Prosecution Anti Corruption Bureau, J&K. Irshad Ahmad Sheikh, additional PP in Anti Corruption Court, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, Anti Corruption Bureau, J&K; Harminder Singh, Chief Prosecuting Officer, Crime Hqrs, J&K as Deputy Director Prosecution, Rajouri-Poonch; Kamal Sharma, Chief Prosecuting Officer in CID Hqrs, J&K as Deputy Director Prosecution, CID Hqrs. He shall also hold the charge of Deputy Director Prosecution, SIA, J&K.
Suresh Kumar, Public Prosecutor, Principal Sessions Court, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution, Udhampur-Reasi; Prashant Mahajan, Chief Prosecuting Officer in the office of Director Prosecution, Jammu as Deputy Director Prosecution in the office of Director General of Prosecution, J&K; Aijaz Hussain, Public Prosecutor, Principal Sessions Court, Srinagar in as Deputy Director Prosecution, Pulwiuna-Budgam; Javaid Ahmad Bhat, Public Prosecutor, Principal Sessions Court, Pulwama as Deputy Director Prosecution, Srinagar; Davinder Paul Singh, Additional Public Prosecutor, Court of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu as Deputy Director Prosecution, Kathua-Samba; Mohd Maqbool Shah, Additional Public Prosecutor, Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Srinagar as Deputy Director Prosecution, Ganderbal-Bandipora; Vikrant Sharma, Additional Public Prosecutor, Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu as Deputy Director Prosecution, Doda-Kishtwar; Ashish Kathore, Chief Prosecuting Officer, Security Hqrs, J&K as Deputy Director Prosecution in the office of Director General of Prosecution, J&K. He shall also hold the charge of Chief Prosecuting Officer, in Security Hqrs , J&K.
Gh. Jeelani Dar, Chief Prosecuting Officer, Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution Anantnag-Kulgam-Shopian; Umer Mansoor, Assistant Public Prosecutor in the Court of 2nd Additional Munsiff, Srinagar as Sr Prosecuting Officer in DPO Awantipora. He shall also hold the charge of Sr PO in DPO Pulwama.
Sidharalh Thakur, Assistant Public Prosecutor in the Court of Munsiff, Ukhral has been transferred and posted as Sr. PO in SIA, J&K; and Ravikant Samyal, Sr. PO awaiting orders of posting in Home Department has been transferred and posted as Sr P0 in DPO Ramban.
Meanwhile as per another order, Masroor Ahmad Mir, Deputy Commandant IR-10th Bn. has been transferred and posted as Commandant SDRF 1st Bn., Srinagar, with immediate effect, relieving AtuI Sharma, SO to Commandant General, HG/CD & SDRF, J&K, of the additional charge of the aforesaid post.
