SRINAGAR: Eighteen persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
In Sopore, a Truck bearing registration number JK09-2834 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Jan Mohammad Gogri resident of Norikot Kalaroch Kupwara at Nowpora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Kupwara, a Magic vehicle bearing registration number JK09A-3832 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Tariq Ahmad Wani resident of Harri at Harri. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Ganderbal, a Truck bearing registration number JK05B-8342 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Qasima Jan resident of Thoop Reasi at Sonamarg. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Anantnag, an Alto-800 car hit and injured a pedestrian Sakeena Akhter daughter of Abdullah Ladi at Langnie, Pahalgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Handwara, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05/2817 hit and injured a boy namely Junaid Ahmed Khan resident of Rajpora at Zachaldar Bazaar. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. In Budgam, a Tata LP bearing registration number JK01K/3730 turned turtle at L-Mode near View Point Tangnar, Khansahib resulting in injuries to 13 passengers. All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Police have registered the cases in this regard.
