JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party on Thursday called for Jammu Bandh on Friday following vandalisation of famous Aap Shambu temple in Roopnagar area of Janipur on Tuesday evening and Shiva Temple at Nanak Nagar this evening.

Meanwhile, the J&K Government has ordered the cellular companies including the BSNL and private players to snap the internet services, both broadband and mobile.
At a specially convened meeting of Panthers Party  held under the chairmanship oformer minister and Panthers chairman Harsh Dev Singh, an appeal has been made to traders and transport associations to support the bandh call.
The meeting expressed concern over desecration of temples and shrines besides attack on pilgrims. The Panthers Party has sought probe to unearth the conspiracy behind the highly profane acts.
Seeking stern action against the culprits and invocation of Public Safety Act against the offenders, the JKNPP has called for complete and peaceful shutdown on Friday as a mark of protest against the sacrilegious acts. The party has appealed the people to maintain communal harmony at all costs.
