DODA: To provide loan assistance to the aspiring unemployed youth of the district under Jammu and Kashmir Self Employment Scheme, an interview/ counseling session was held at District Employment and Counseling Centre Doda under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Doda, Shyam Vinod Meena.
In all 231 candidates applied for the loan assistance under the JKSES, out of which 176 candidates participated in the interview/ counselling programme and all the 176 were selected under the said scheme for setting up their income generating ventures.
The applications of these 176 candidates would be sponsored to the concerned bank branch for sanctioning the amount required as per the project report in due course of time.
DDC congratulated the selected candidates and enjoined upon them to grab the opportunity and avail benefits of the self employment schemes and establish their own income generating units and become job providers rather than job seekers.
Deputy Director Employment, District Employment and Counseling Centre Doda, General Manager DIC Doda , District Social Welfare Officer Doda, Lead District Manager (SBI) Doda and Vice President J&K Bank Jammu North Doda , besides other members of the committee were also present during the interview.
