Jammu Jr XI registers maiden win over Punjab Jr in cricket

JAMMU: Scripting a thrilling win over Punjab Junior Cricket Eleven, Jammu Junior Cricket team registered first win at Amandeep Singh Cricket Academy Amritsar. Others present on the occasion were Indian Junior International Player Manish Sharma, T.P Singh India A Player and Sr. Coach of Amandeep Cricket Academy, Rajesh Gill former Ranji Player. Batting first, Jammu Junior Cricket team scored 181 runs for the loss of ten wickets in 28.2 overs. Rydham played an inning of 56 runs followed by Ritwic Sharma and Aryan, who made 28 and 18 runs respectively while Swastic Sharma added 11 to the total. Abay and Pawan shared three wickets, while Arman and Arshdeep took one each for Punjab team. In reply, Punjab Junior Cricket team tried best but they fell short of six runs and thus lost the match. Abay (46), Pawan (47) and Arshdeep (15) runs were the main scorers. Rydham was declared Man of the Match.
