SAMBA: Police on Sunday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 10 bovines and arresting a smuggler.
According to a report, on a specific information Rajpura Police led by SI Neeraj Ramotra laid a Naka at Bai Nallah and rescued 10 bovines from the clutches of a smuggler. The accused identified as Mohd Sadieq son of Mohd Yusuf resident of Chack Manga Gujjaran was arrested and a case under relevant section of law was registered against him.
