SAMBA: One person died while his two associates were injured when a Tata Mobile (JK21-4564) on its way from Samba to Jammu hit a traillor (HP12D-7673) at SIDCO Chowk Bari-Brahmana on Jammu Pathankot National Highway in district Samba.
On receiving the information, Bari-Brahmana Police reached the spot and shifted them to hospital.
One of the injured Asgar Ali (26) son of Mast Ali resident of Faridapur district Bareli (UP) at present Rajpura (Samba) was rushed to GMC Hospital Jammu where the doctors declared him brought dead while his two associates Sunil Kumar (24) son of Buta Ram and Vijay Kumar (30) son of Tony Ram both from Mawa (Samba) were rushed to nearby private hospital from where the doctors referred both of them to GMC Hospital Jammu. Bari Brahmana Police has registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
UDHAMPUR: In two different road accidents, three persons got critically injured here in Udhampur on Jammu Srinagar National Highway on Wednesday.
According to reports, a Tipper (JK14D-2203) hit a biker near village on National Highway resulting in the biker getting injured.
After hitting the tipper driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle. Victim identified as 18 years Akarshan Sharma son of Sham Saroop Sharma resident of Chenani was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur from where he was further referred to GMCH Jammu.
While in another accident, two pedestrians were hit by an unknown vehicle near Jib Morh in Garhi locality.
The injured were identified as Om Parkash son of Badri Nath resident of Seen Thakra and Deep Sharma son of Hans Raj resident of Nangal in Katra.
Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Rehmbal and Udhampur police have registered the cases for investigation.
