Girls indoor games get underway

JAMMU: Inter-school girls indoor games meet in under-14 and under-17 categories got underway at MA Stadium, here under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
The first day of the two-day meet witnessed final results in rope skipping and yoga while competition in other events was at the preliminary stages.
The Results:
ROPE SKIPPING: Under-14: Speed Sprint 30 seconds: Jassita, KC International, Ist; Komal, Guru Nanak Public School 2nd and Raghi, DPs, 3rd. Speed Endorence three minutes: Ritu, Guru Nanak Public School, Ist; Samiksha, APs Domana, 2nd and Janvi Rajpur, KC International, 3rd. Free Style (45-60 seconds): Sudhiksha, KC International, Ist; Tanu, Guru Nanak Public School. Double Under-30 seconds: Arpana Pandita, KC International, Ist and Subidha, APS Domana, 2nd.
YOGA: Under-14: Himani Verma, SMS Shishu Niketan, Ist; Asiran, 2nd; Hena, DPS, 3rd and Komal, DPS, 4th. Under-17: Kajal Sharma, DBN, Ist; Simran, Luthra academy, 2nd; Simran Bhat, SN Vidya Mandir, 3rd and Risha, DBN, 4th. The competiton Matches were officiated by Bhim Singh, Sudesh Kumari, Parshotam Singh and Rajesh Bandral.
