JAMMU: Presiding Officer Kishore Kumar of Fast Track Court on Tuesday framed charges in much publicized Akhnoor sex scandal under section 376 against accused persons namely, Pawan Kumar alias Pappa son of Balak Ram resident of Akhnoor, Amit Gupta son of Chaman Lal resident of Ward No. 2, Akhnoor, Anil Magotra son of Harminder Lal resident of Barui at present Manda, Akhnoor, Harminder Singh alias Mintu son of Babu Singh resident of Jadh, Tehsil Jourian and Rahul Gupta son of Inder Pakash resident of Ward No. 6, Jia Pota Mohalla, Tehsil Akhnoor whereas accused Hardeep Tangotra alias Sahil alias Rehan son of Krishan Lal resident of Gandarwan, Tehsil Akhnoor is charge sheeted for the commission of offences under sections 376/511.
According to the police case on 02.12.2015 complainant Surinder Kumar filed complaint with the police station, Akhnoor alleging that his daughter a minor and studying in 10th class was missing since 12.011.2015. After enquiring from relatives and others he came to know that accused Abhi alias Gulshan Kumar son of Tarsem Lal resident of Pathankot, who used to visit the school of his daughter had called her twice on cell phone and had kidnapped her and has prayed for taking action against the accused. On this report, FIR No. 221/2015 under section 363 RPC was registered and investigation entrusted to ASI Kuldeep Singh. IO went to Pathankot alongwith complainant and recovered the prosecutrix from the possession of accused Gulshan Kumar. He got the prosecutrix medically examined from SDH Akhnoor and also got recorded her statement under section 164-A CrPC and on the basis of statement recorded added offence under section 376 RPC.
