DODA: With the help of Nitin’s 68-run inning Royal Challengers Doda outplayed Asraria Cricket Club Kishtwar by two wickets in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda.
Earlier, Royal Challengers Doda won the toss and opted to bowl first.
While batting, ACC Kishtwar set a target of 148 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 18 overs. Saleem and Mubashir were the main scorers with 41 and 39 runs respectively. For Royal Challengers Doda, Zahid and Umar shared three wickets each.
In reply, Royal Challengers Doda team managed to chase the target in 17 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
Nitin smashed 68 runs while Ikhlaq contributed 27 runs for the team. For ACC Kishtwar, Fida picked three wickets while Amir Ahmed took two.
Nitin of Royal Challengers Doda was declared as Man of the Match for his best batting performance.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Bharat Jajuria as Umpires whereas Rinku Bhaduria act as Scorer and Ashok Sharma (Video Analyst) as Third Umpire.
