Vibodh assures people for solving power crisis

RAJOURI: Member Legislative Council Vibodh Gupta on Friday inaugurated a 63 KV power transformer in Pangai village of Thanamandi which was recently announced by him and has been installed on an expenditure of about Rs 4 lakh.
A number of senior citizens of the area and officers of Power Development Department were present in the programme held in the Pangai village.
Locals of the area while interacting with MLC Vibodh Gupta informed him about several issues of the area and urged for early redressal of the same.
Addressing the locals of the area MLC Vibodh Gupta said that locals of the village approached him a couple of months ago with problem of power crisis after which he sanctioned four lakh rupees from his CDF and this 63 KV transformer has been installed.
He further assured the locals of the area to solve power related problems being faced in the other nearby villages.
“These villages of Thanamandi including Pangai have been ignored by successive political representatives but he will work hard for solving the issues of the area ” Vibodh said while asking the people to help him in proper disposal of public grievances.
Gupta, said that the people of his constituency are his priority adding that he is working day and night to make Rajouri Constituency a model one and will always work for the welfare of the people.
He also said that matter of power related problems in Rajouri district has been discussed with Deputy Chief Minister of J and K, who happens to be the PDD Minister, and a comprehensive plan will be made soon to redress these problems.
Among others Abdul Ghani Shawl, Ranjeet Tara, Zahid Ahmed and Amjad Khan were present in this programme.
