KATRA: As part of three days Moungri Mela, J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association (JKISWA) in collaboration and Bamhag Kesari Dangal Committee is going to organise Annual Bamhag Kesari Vishal Dangal at Sardabbar, Kalsote in Tehsil and District Udhampur on 15th May from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting at Katra held under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma, President JKISWA, here today.
Sharma, who is also Associate Vice-President Wrestling Federation of India and Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, said the Dangal will be held with the collaboration of J and K Police, J and K Tourism Department and J&K Bank.
Others who attended the meeting were Swantanter Dev Kotwal Advocate, Chairman Lord Shiv-Parvati Caves (Moungri) Development Board, Sunil Badyal President District Udhampur Indian Style Wrestling Association, (Retd.) Head Master R.S Manhas, Dr. Vikram Gulati, Hans Raj Thakur, Ramnik Nowadha, Deepak Wazir, Om Prakash Verma, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Kartar Singh, Virender Sharma and Murli Dhar (Munna).
Sharma appealed to Tehsildar Udhampur, who is also Mela Officer, to make security arrangements and cleanliness in and around the venue of Dangal.
Meanwhile, all the interested wrestlers of the Jammu region have been asked to contact Shiv Kumar Sharma (94191-61880, 99069-72888) for their entries in the Dangal.
