REASI: Police on Sunday arrested three persons and recovered nine bottles of liquor from their possession.
According to a report, a police team led by Mohan Lal, Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi along with Inspector Dalip Singh, SHO Police Station Reasi conducted raids at different places in Reasi town and booked the culprits under different sections of law.
In first raid at Hotel Green View of Trintha Reasi, the police team succeeded in recovery of nine bottles of liquor of different brands.
The recovered liquor was seized and accused persons namely Ashok Kumar son of Rattan Lal resident of Mera Mandrian, Joginder Singh son of Kartar Singh resident of Mari Reasi and Sanjay Kumar son of Madan Lal resident of Nai Basti Reasi have been arrested.
A case vide FIR No. 68/2016 under section 48-A Act was registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation of the case is in progress.
The police team also raided few more places in the town and violators were booked under section 36 Police Act.
