DODA: Nisar Ahmed, DIG DKR Range Hqrs. Batote J and K along with Zahid Naseem Manhas, SSP Doda and other police officers visited Police Station Doda and conducted inspection of the police stations, in which the old and fresh cases were discussed minutely. DIG stressed upon SHO and IOs concerned to ensure speedy disposal of the under investigation cases and inquest proceedings in a professional manner and also arrest absconders /trace out the missing persons. He emphasised upon SHO / MHCs to ensure speedy disposal of verifications, which have become under the purview of Public Service Guarantee Act, early disposal of Court processes and computerisation of police station record besides maximum use of preventive measures to curb the increasing crime.
After conclusion of inspection, DIG held Darbar of the jawans posted at Police Station Doda, which was attended by about 50 officials. During the course of Darbar proceedings, the jawans put forth some demands/issues related to their welfare and he assured that their genuine demands shall be redressed on priority.
DIG also stressed upon the officers/jawans to serve the people in a better way and our motto shall always remain to give best service and crime free atmosphere to people. He further advised the officials associated with Sarishta to deal politely with the general public during their visit to police station, as they are the first, who can interact with them during the visit. The officers/officials were briefed to maintain discipline and work with zeal and zest to ensure friendly relations with the people.
