REASI: The Health Department switched from trivalent to bivalent oral polio vaccine from today as part of the polio endgame strategic plan here today.
District Development Commissioner Reasi, Ravinder Kumar inaugurated the switching from trivalent to bivalent oral polio vaccine at District hospital Reasi. DC said the oral polio vaccine is provided at birth, in six, 10 and 14 weeks to infants as part of the regular immunization programme. DDC Reasi stressed upon to work with full dedication and commitment towards eradication of the deadly disease polio.
