16 polling parties dispatched for polling duty

KUPWARA: According to District Election Officer, Kupwara the polling staff selected for Karnah, Kupwara, Lolab, Handwara and Langate, Assembly segments have been asked to report to their respective Returning Officers on 1st December, 2014 at 8am for collection of poll material and EVMs.
The polling staff to be deployed for Karnah will have to report at SDM, Office Karnah to collect the polling material on 1st December, 2014 at 8:00 AM.
Similarly, the polling staff deployed for polling duty for Kupwara Assembly constituency will have to report at TRC, Kupwara on 1st December, 2014 at 8:00 AM for collection of polling material from RO, Kupwara.
The polling staff for Lolab constituency will have to report at DFO’s office (Zangli) on 1st December, 2014 at 8:00 AM for collection of poll material from RO concerned, while the polling staff deployed for Handwara constituency have been asked to report at ITI, Handwara where from they will be dispatched for polling duty at their concerned polling stations.
The employees to be deployed for polling duty in Langate Constituency have been asked to report at Boys Higher Secondary School, Langate on 1st December, 2014 at 8:00 AM for collection of poll material from the RO, Langate.
Meanwhile, the District Election Officer Kupwara said that 16 polling parties for Karnah, Keran, Jamagund, Budnamal, Machil and Kumkhari belonging in Karnah, Kupwara and Lolab Assembly Constituencies have been dispatched to concerned destinations.
On this occasion the election related Nodal Officers and District Information Officer were present.
