EJAC elects Jammu province body

JAMMU: Hitting out at State Government, bureaucrats and politicians for their anti-trade union activities and nefarious designs to weaken the employees’ movement in the State, General Council Members and leaders of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) warned to give a befitting reply to all those elements in near future by announcing State level agitation.
Talking to reporters here today EJAC State President A.Q Wani said that EJAC will hold conventions at Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Divisions in the first week of April to gear up the employees movement at grass root level for future course of action for resolution of genuine demands of the employees and for the protection of Trade Union rights in the J and K State.
Wani also appealed to the employees fraternity to provide corruption and favoritism free service to the people of J and K State with sense of belonging without succumbing before the political pressures.
Wani also appealed to government to resolve all the pending issues of employees at the earliest.
Later, EJAC president also dissolved the Provincial Body of Jammu province which had completed the tenure and elected new body by secret ballet to boost the employee’s movement in Jammu province. The new body of Jammu province includes Ganesh Khajuria President, Param Jeet Singh-Senior Vice-President, Narinder Singh Jamwal- Vice-President-1, Yashpal Sharma-Vice-President-ll, Rajesh Singh Jamwal-General Secretary, B.B. Kotwal-Chief Spokesman, Rajinder Gupta- Publicity Chief, Sukhdev Singh-Convener, Anil Sharma-Chief Advisor, Sajad Malik- Chief Legal Advisor, Ashok Kumar-Chief Coordinator, Darshan Sharma-Spokesman, Ajit Singh-Financial Advisor, Pardeep Singh-Coordinator, Shaar Mohammad Khan-Organizer, Telak Raj-Joint Secretary, Kuldeep Raj Sharma-Advisor, Rash Pal-Assistant Coordinator, Surjeet Singh-Joint Secretary-ll, Jamait Ali Aga- l/C Vice President Chenab Valley, Surat Singh Toofani- Media Advisor, Noor Mohammad-Coordinator, Dalbir Singh- Provincial Advisor and Ravinder Singh- Joint Secretary-II.
Vinod Sharma, Urmesh Kumar, Talib Hussain, Rajinder Singh, Danash Gupta, Sumeet Singh, Naresh Sharma, Baibir Singh, Malka Ram, Raj Pal, Jeet Raj, Rajash Sharma, Darshan Lal, Mir Nisar Ahmad Karhamee, Sangram Singh, Ashok Mehra and Narinder Sharma were nominated as Supreme Council Members.
The President EJAC was accompanied by Shabir Ahmad Langoo Wajat Hussain, Sheikh Mohammad Hussain and M. Rafi in the press conference.
