JAMMU: Two brothers were on Tuesday arrested for allegedly being involved in the murder of a youth in Jammu district, police said on Tuesday.
Jagmeet Singh, alias Kaka, and Jarnail Singh, alias Jalla were arrested in raids conducted at two different locations within 12 hours of the murder of one Vipin Kumar, they said. According to the complaint filed by one Nitin Kumar, he along with Vipin and Abhi Thapa had gone to recharge their Dish TV where they had a heated argument followed by a scuffle with Jagmeet Singh. The scuffle was stopped by the intervention of the shopkeeper, police said, adding, that Vipin was attacked on their way home by Jagmeet Singh with a sharp-edged weapon.
Vipin was shifted to SDH Bishnah in a critical condition where he was declared dead by the doctor, he said. A case has been registered following the complaint lodged on March 7 against both the accused, he added.
