Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament Jandial Thathi Warriors, Majeen Sidhra Stars script wins

BAJALTA: Jandial Thathi Warriors defeated Sandhori Warriors and Majeen Sidhra won a match against Nadore Killers in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
Winning the toss at Bajalta playfield in the Nagrota Assembly Constituency, Sandhori Warriors decided to bat first and was bowled out for just 28 runs in 11 overs. Jandial Thathi Warriors managed to score 29 runs for the loss of two wicket thus won the match by eight wickets.
Vikram Singh of Jandial Thathi Warriors was declared Man of the Match for his outstanding spell of bowling with 3 overs 2 maiden 2 runs and 5 wickets.
The second match was played between Majeen Sidhra Stars and Nadore Killers.
Winning the toss Majeen Sidhra Stars decided to bat first and managed to score 165 runs for the loss of three wickets in prescribed 14 overs.
Banu Pratap scored brilliant 99 runs off 42 balls. Nadore Killers failed to chase the target and manage to score 122 runs only in 14 overs after losing five wickets.
For his 99 not out, Banu Partap was declared Man of the Match.
The matches were officiated by Saleem Ur Rehman and Suresh Singh from J and K Youth Services and Sports. The scoring was done by Zulfikar Ahmed and Mohammed Gul.
Besides cricket lovers from Nagrota and Jammu the matches were witnessed by Sarpanch Jandyal Upper and Jandyal Lower Ravinder Singh Peter and Balbir Singh, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal former Ranji player and Member Organising Committee.
Both the matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, Vice President Take-1 Channel and Member Organising Committee.
