CHENANI: A minor girl who was kidnapped by Rakesh Kumar son of Kunj Lal resident of Faggu Latti was on Friday recovered by Chenani Police from village Saho, District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh.
As per the police reports, the father of the victim lodged a report at Police Post Sudhmahadev on 5th Feb 2016 that his girl was kidnapped by the accused from Sudhamahadev. On this a case vide FIR No 11/16 U/s 363 RPC was registered at Police Station Chenani and investigation was taken up by SI Khyati Maan Khajuria In-Charge Police Post Sudhamahadev. A team was constituted which traced the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused from Himachal Pardesh. The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of Inspector Mahesh Sharma SHO Chenani, SDPO Chenani Vinod Sharma and Addl. SP Udhampur Mohan Lal Kaith and overall supervision of SSP Udhampur Suleman Choudhary.
