JAMMU: With the help of brilliant 69-run inning of Amit, Singh Akhnoor Lions outplayed MIER Academy by 18 runs in the league match of the under-15 Diwali T20 Cup held here on Saturday. Earlier, batting first, Singh Akhnoor scored 137 runs for the loss of six wickets. Besides Amit, Shugam and Rohit added 20 and 18 runs to the total. For MIER Academy, Yougan and Udhay shared two wickets while Karmanya took one. In reply, MIER Academy failed to chase the target and manage to make 119 runs for the loss of five wickets. Aprajit (24), Kapil (22) and Udhay (18) were the main scorers. Ritik grabbed two wickets while Pankush took one. Amit was declared Man of the Match for his match winning performance. Today’s match was officiated by the technical panel comprising Vinod, Sanjay and Sandeep.
