NAGROTA: Police on Monday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 15 bovines and arresting three smugglers at Nagrota.A police party during Naka at Ban Toll Plaza intercepted a truck (JK02AG/5369) and rescued 15 bovines loaded in it. Three smugglers were arrested which were identified as Khalil Ahmed son of Badar Din resident of Surankot, Poonch, Mohd. Bashir son of Altaf Din resident of Arnas, Reasi and Zulfkar Ahmed son of Lal Din R/o Surankot, Poonch. A case vide FIR No. 93/2016 under sections 188 RPC, 3/5 PCA Act was registered and investigation taken up.
