ANANTNAG: 14th UT Level Tennisball Cricket Championship for Men and Women concluded at Sports Stadium Qazigund, here.
On the concluding ceremony General Secretary J&K Tennisball Cricket Association, Farooq Ahmad Salroo was the chief guest, who along with Vice President of JKTBCA Nazir Ahamd Lone, Treasure G.N Panoo, Sports Analyst Lal Mohammad Ganie, Dr. Abid Rather and Dr. Riyaz Veeri distributed the trophies and medals among the winners and runners up teams.
Besides them Raja Shafi from Media and Arif Wahid from Gulistan TV were present on the occasion for the coverage of Championship.
In the Championship, 14 Districts of J&K participated and almost 398 players took active part in the Championship.
In the Championship Ramban District lifted the Championship in Senior Boys category, while District Srinagar secured runners up place. Third place in senior Men category was jointly secured by District Baramulla and Shopian. In Senior Girls category, District Kupwara lifts the Championship, while District Anantnag secured Runners up place. The Third place in senior women category was secured by District Baramulla and Kulgam Jointly. In Junior Boys U-19 age Category, District Ramban lifts the Championship, while as district Baramulla secured Runners up Place. The Third place in Junior boys was secured by Bandipora and Kulgam Jointly. In Junior Girls U-19, District Kulgam and Ramban got the Participation Trophies. In Sub Junior U-17 boys Anantnag and Kulgam got the Participation Trophies. In Mini Sub Junior U-14 boys Kulgam and Baramulla got participation Trophies. While Mini Sub Junior U-14 girls Baramulla and Kulgam got the Participation Trophies.
The Championship was organized by J&K Tennisball Cricket Association. The Championship was sponsored by J&K Sports Council.
