LUDHIANA: Continuing its winning streak, University of Jammu pn Thursday registered its second league match win defeating GB Pant University by six wickets in the ongoing 14th All India Vice-Chancellor’s T-20 Cricket Cup, held here.
Earlier, batting first, GB Pant University scored 122 runs for six in 20 overs. For Jammu University, Daud Iqbal grabbed two wickets while Pawan Singh and Sumit shared apiece each.
University of Jammu convincingly chased the target in 16.3 overs with Vishal Sudan scoring unbeaten 34 runs. Besides Vishal, Ameet Targotra (24), Niranjan (17) and Daud (13) runs were other contributors.
Vishal Sudan was adjudged Man of the Match runs. Jammu University Team Manager Sham Lal Sharm, Assistant Manager Vikas Langer and Pawan Singh, President-JUNTEU congratulated the team for its convincing win over GB Pant University.
University of Jammu will meet Punjab University Chandigarh in its next league match on 12th November, 2016.
