UDHAMPUR: Finals position was cleared in sub-junior, junior and seniors boys section in the Devinder Memorial Open Table Tennis Championship being organised by District Table Tennis Association Udhampur in Multipurpose Hall of Government Boys Degree College, here on Sunday.
The championship is held under the close supervision of Sunil Sharma President of the Association, Sanjay Sharma Senior Vice President, Kumar Tarun Vice President and Sunny Sharma Executive Member.
Today’s semifinal results:
BOYS: Sub-Junior: Mahi Kailu beat Anurag Jamwal by 3-0; Abhay defeated Sudansh by 3-2. Junior: Mahi beat Anish by 3-1; Rajesh Daya outplayed Sudansh by 3-1. Senior: Ankit Sharma beat Arush Kailu by 3-0; Sunny Sadotra trounced Anish by 3-0.
Today’s matches were officiated by Prikshit Khajuria, Akhil Bandral and Rajat Khajuria.
According to organisers, due to the sad demise of
former J and K Governor K.V Krishna Rao, the final matches of the championship are postponed and scheduled to be held after 3rd February, 2016.
