UDHAMPUR: In two different suicide bids, one elderly person and a girl attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance in their respective houses in Udhampur.
According to a report, an elderly person identified as Devi Ditta son of Shankar Dass resident of Saunter in Ramnagar took some poisonous substance in his house to end his life. On seeing victim lying unconscious, his family members shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur.
In another incident, one Nazama daughter of Zameel resident of Krimachi Udhampur attempted suicide. Victim was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Condition of both the victims was stated to be stable till filing last report. However Ramnagar and Udhampur Police have registered the cases for investigation.
