JAMMU: In the ongoing KC Sports Club Cup tournament the first match was played between Shastri Cricket Club (SCC) and Krishna Cricket Club (KCC). SCC, batting first, put up a score of 144 runs in 20 overs for nine wickets. Deepak and Arvind made 50 and 29 runs. For bowling side, Vicky took two wickets. While chasing the target, KCC was bowled out for 102 runs in 16.4 overs. Happy and Shanga contributed 47 and 28 runs respectively. Varun took four wickets while Sahil and Vicky Raina shared two each. Varun of SCC was declared as Man of the Match. In another match, New Challenger Cricket Club (NCCC) registered a ten run win over Singh Cricket Club. Batting first, NCCC made 150 runs in 18 overs. Gourav played an inning of 53 runs followed by Sandeep and Bansi Lal, who added 28 and 23 runs. For Singh Cricket Club, Sham Singh Langeh took two wickets while Kewal picked one. While chasing the target, Singh Club was bundled
out at 140 runs. Sunny, Vinay and Dilawar were the main scorers with 35, 27 and 23 runs respectively. Sahil, Saumya and Manjeet shared two wickets each. Gourav of NCCC was declared as Man of the Match.
