SRINAGAR: The President of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and Chairman of School Education Co-ordination Committee, Ab. Qayoom Wani announced to hold a protest at Directorate of School Education Kashmir, Srinagar on 30th January, 2016 against the conduct of examination drama, handing over of Education Department to bureaucrats and victimisation under the garb of transfer policy.
Talking to reporters, Wani reacted against the unconstitutional step and use of unparliamentarily language used by Director School Education Shah Faisal.
Wani cleared higher officers of Education Department that under the garb of examination drama nobody would be allowed to play with the honour of teachers especially Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers.
He asked the government to stop the examination drama and regularise all those ReTs who have completed five years of service forthwith.
EJAC president termed the handing over of Education Department to bureaucrats as a deep conspiracy and said it is a deliberate attempt to ruin the department because it has been run by efficient teachers and scholars with honesty and dedication.
Wani cautioned the Director School Education to name the organisation of teachers forum and lecturers forum with respect otherwise all his evil deeds shall be made public.
Wani announced that thousands of teachers shall protest on 30th Jan at Directorate Office and during protest the ReT teachers shall burn their certificates as a mark of protest to give a befitting reply to the anti teacher policy.
Wani appealed to State Governor, Chief Secretary, and Divisional Commissioner to take notice of the orders issued by director to harass the teachers under the garb of transfer policy and an enquiry committee be constituted to probe into the whole matter.
