JAMMU: The Police Headquarters (PHQ) on Thursday transferred 14 Inspectors and 4 Sub Inspectors from various wings of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Inspector Urfan Parviez presently posted with State Vigilance Organisation has been posted to Jammu zone while Inspector Bashir Ahmad from A/Zone to AP 3rd Security, Inspector Vinay Parihar from BHEP Kishtwar to Armed Zone, Inspector Satya Parkash from Jammu Zone to CID,Inspector Sonam Rigzin from Kashmir Zone to Security wing, Inspector Jatinder Singh from Armed Zone (AWP) to PTTI Vijaypur, Inspector Padms Durjee from Security to Kashmir Zone, Inspector Vijay Singh from PTTI Vijaypur to Armed zone (AWP), Inspector Rajesh Sharma from Crime to Jammu Zone, Inspector Sunil Gupta from Jammu Zone to Traffic, Inspector Ravinder Singh from SKPAU to Jammu Zone, Inspector Mohd Amin from Security to Jammu Zone, Inspector Ashwani Kumar from SKPAU to Jammu Zone and Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary from CID to Jammu Zone. Besides serving in operation police, Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary has earlier served as SHO Bakshi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Gangyal, Miransahib, Vijaypur, Hiranagar, R S Pura and other sensitive police stations in twin border districts Rajouri-Poonch. Meanwhile Sub Inspector (SI) Jeet Ram has been shifted from Jammu Zone to PTTI Vijaypur, SI Rakesh Sharma from Jammu Zone to CID, SI Daniesh Maqbool from Armed Zone to I/Z SOG and SI Onkar Singh from CID to Jammu Zone.
