JAMMU: State Vigilance Commission (SVC) on Thursday got about 74 Kanals of State land (Kahcharie) restored that had been encroached by some private persons at Ramban.
While proceeding on a complaint regarding alleged encroachment of State land (Kahcharie) by some private persons at village Billawat, Ramban, in connivance with some revenue officials and for non-implementing orders of the Dy. Commissioner, Ramban, for its eviction from encroachers, the SVC summoned Addl. Dy. Commissioner (DVO) Ramban, alongwith report.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, appeared personally before the Commission on 12th January 2016 along with Action Taken Report, wherein he submitted that in pursuance of the directions issued to him by the SVC, the wrong entries made in Khasra Girdawari in respect of State land bearing khasra Nos.661, 662, 666, 667 and 669, measuring about 74 kanals at village Billawat, Tehsil Ramban, have been deleted and necessary entries thereof recorded with red ink in Khasra Girdawari.
