CHENANI: Police on Wednesday arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest in several criminal cases.
According to a report, a police team led by SHO Chenani Mahesh Sharma arrested an absconder namely Khursheed Ahmed son of Abdul Karim resident of Bain, Chenani against whome three warrants under section 512 CrPC and one bailable warrant was issued by Courts. He was absconder in cases under FIR no.72/14 section 379 RPC at Police Station Chenani, FIR No 6/15 under section 457/380 RPC Police Station Udhampur, FIR 256/13 under section 379 RPC and FIR No 12/11 under section 457/380 RPC of Police Station Udhampur.
The arrest was made under the guidance of SDPO Vinod Sharma, Adl SP Mohan Lal Kaith and overall supervision of SSP Udhampur Mohd Suleman Choudhary.
