13 bovines rescued, 3 held in Poonch

POONCH : The Surankote Police on Tuesday rescued 13 bovines which were being smuggled to Valley through Mughal Road and seized two vehicles.
The incharge Police Post Behramgala Nizarat Hussain Shah under the supervision of SHO Surankote Charanjit Singh and SSP Poonch J. S Johar intercepted two vehicles bearing registration No JK12A-2098 and JK02BG-5427 which were on their way from Thannamandi to Valley. During checking the police recovered 13 bovines which were being illegally carried to Valley. The police seized both these vehicles and arrested the drivers identified as Mohd Kabir son of Mohd Rashi resident of Saila, Surankot and Zaffar Iqbal son of Abdul Aziz resident of Traranwali Surankote and the smuggler namely Abdul Gani son of Dil Mir resident of Asprote, Thannamandi district Rajouri. The police have registered the cases FIR 107/16 and 108/16 under section 188 RPC and 3 PCA for investigation.
