NOWSHERA/MENDHAR: On the directions of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, the teams of officers on Monday conducted surprise visits of various examination centres for 12th class.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Nowshera Harbans Lal Sharma and Tehsildar Sania Malik visited Government Girls Higher Secondary School and Government Higher Secondary School for Boys and found that the examination was being conducted smoothly and the supervising staff was quite alert.
The SDM meanwhile directed closure of canteen by the side of examination centre which creates disturbance to the candidates in the hall.
Another team headed by Naib Tehsildar Khaliq Hussain visited the centre in Higher Secondary School Bhavani.
Meanwhile, as many as 13 cases of copying have been reported in different examination centres of Tehsil Mendhar where annual examinations of 12th class are being conducted.
According to reports three cases of copying were reported in centre Nos 4503 and 4504 of Government High School (GHSS) Bhata Dhurian, by Incharge officer Dev Datt Sharma and 10 cases were reported in Centre Nos 45176, 4518 and 4519 of GHSS Chhatral by Principal GHSS Gani Mendhar.
This special squad was constituted by Chief Education Officer Poonch.
