125 take Amrit at Sunderbani Samagam

SUNDERBANI: Dharam Parchar Committee on Sunday held Amrit Sanchar Samagam here at Gurudwara Singh Sabha Tanda. Around 125 persons including males, females and children took Amrit during the Samagam.
The aforesaid Amrit Sanchar Samagam was held under the direction of Avtar Singh Makkar from Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Amritsar in collaboration with local and District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Rajouri.
Incharge Dharam Parchar Committee Bhai Swaran Singh Khalsa said that Amrit Sanchar Programme is being conducted under the supervision of Sikh Mission Jammu and Kashmir. He said that under the patronage of SGPC Amritsar 1.27 lakh people had taken benefit of Amrit Sanchar in Jammu and Kashmir since 2004.
Khalsa appealed to Sikh Sangat to shun the use of intoxicants and adopt the path shown by the Sikh Gurus.
President DGPC Rajouri Bhopinder Singh Tiger, General Secretary Harpal Singh, Cashier Tarlochan Singh and President Gurdwara Singh Sabha Tanda Gurwant Singh, Cashier Balwant Singh and Secretary Gurmukh Singh thanked Dharam Sanchar Committee and SGPC for organising Amrit Sanchar Samagam.
