11 Persons Injured in Uri Accident, Cop Critical copyBaramullah: Eleven persons were injured in a road accident when two vehicles collided with each other in North Kashmir on Thursday.

Reports reaching here said that a Tata Sumo (taxi) bearing registration number: JK05D – 0629, was on its way to Baramulla from Chollan Uri when collided with a Dumper at Kichama injuring eleven persons aboard Sumo.

The injured were identified as Ashiq Hussain Mir (45), driver; Fatima Begum (29); Muhammad Rashid (55); Mohammad Sayeed (24); Latif Mir (55): Naseema Begum (34): Nisar Ahmad (13); Shahnawaz Mir (13); Nazir Mir (45); Nazir Ahmad (13); and a cop (ASI) Syed Altaf Hussain (58).

All the injured are residents of Chollan and were rushed to Baramulla hospital. However, the cop Altaf Hussain, was critically injured and was rushed to SKIMS Srinagar.
