11 injured as matador rams into wall

UDHAMPUR: Eleven persons got injured when a matador in which they were travelling met with an accident at Chenani Domail Chowk in Udhampur on Sunday.
According to a report, a Matador bearing No. JK02Q-1196 was on its way to Sudhmahadev from Heera Nagar locality, on reaching Chenani Domail Chowk it hit a retaining wall as driver of the vehicle lost control over it. Receiving the information police party headed SHO Mahesh Sharma reached the spot and shifted all injured to SDH Chenani.
Injured were identified as Neelam Devi wife of Bodh Raj, Rama Devi wife of Krishan Kumar, Sunita Devi wife of Karan Singh, Sagar Chand son of Hans Raj, Jagan Nath son of Sain Dass, Babu Ram son of Kunj Lal, Tilak Raj resident of Gian Chand, Ram Murti son of Sagar Chand, Sanju son of Romesh Lal and Ganesh Kumar son of Sagar all residents of Heera Nagar, Mohan Lal son of Chander resident of Jammu. Out of eleven injured, four persons were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Chenani Police has registered the case and launched the investigation.
