R S PURA: A programme was organised at Bharatiya Janata Party office at R S Pura in which rich floral tributes to Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, the first General Secretary of Jana Sangh and the man who gave the philosophy of Antodaya i.e. reaching last poor man in the line . Remembering Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay on the day, Sr. BJP leader Dr. Gagan Bhagat paid tributes to him in a unique way by opening accounts of more than 100 persons at various banks situated at R S Pura to popularise Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna .
The main features of the PMJDY scheme is include Rs 5,000 overdraft facility for Aadhar-linked accounts, RuPay Debit Card with inbuilt Rs 1 lakh accident insurance cover besides, account holders under the scheme will get life insurance cover of Rs 30,000.
Dr.Gagan Bhagat inspired the gathering of prominent workers of BJP from R.S Pura Constituency, to follow the path of “Antodaya” so that the society and thereby the nation cares for the poor and all prosper in unison.
