SRINAGAR: One person died while five others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
In Kulgam, a Tata vehicle hit and injured a girl Isra Jan, daughter of Abdul Hameed Shah, resident of Gundipora at Gundipora, Qazigund. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01E-3381 hit a cement bund near Govt. Middle School Dangerpora Killan, Devsar Kulgam in which two persons identified as Zahid Nabi Dar and Sakib Gulzar Shiekh residents of Aakhran were injured. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
In Anantnag, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03D-2763 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Mohammad Maqbool Shah resident of Halvani Nagbal Ashmuqam at Seer Hamdan, Mattan. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle bearing registration number PB09K-8411 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Ghulam Qadir Tantary son of Ghulam Nabi Tantary resident of Bidder at Bidder Kokernag Anantnag. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
In Srinagar, an Auto Load Carrier bearing registration number JK04-6324 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Azam Rashid Gojri resident of Shankerpora Anantnag at Sanat Nagar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police have registered the cases in this regard.
