AKHNOOR: Police on Sunday arrested one youth from Jaurian with 50 pouches of J and K Excise liquor.
According to a report, a party of Police Station Akhnoor laid a surprise Naka at Jourian and intercepted one Motorcycle bearing registration No. JK02 BF-0776 driven by Joginder Paul son of Ram Ditta resident of Dhok Khalsa, Jourian.
On his search, police recovered 50 pouches of J and K Excise Liquior of 180 Ml each from his possession which he was carrying illegally. The said accused was arrested by the police along with liquor and the vehicle was seized.
A case under FIR No.222/14 section48-A Excise Act was registered at Police Station Akhnoor.
